Kabul, Afghanistan — Hila Hospital has upgraded its radiology department with new, high-precision imaging technology, including digital X-Ray and multi-slice CT Scan systems. The expansion is part of the hospital’s ongoing effort to provide internationally standardized diagnostic services to patients across Afghanistan.
The new equipment delivers faster scan times, lower radiation exposure, and clearer images — allowing doctors to diagnose conditions more accurately and begin treatment sooner. The radiology department is supervised by specialized radiologists trained abroad.
“Our goal is to give every patient access to the same level of diagnostic accuracy found in leading hospitals around the world,” said a hospital spokesperson. “With this new technology, we can detect diseases earlier and treat them more effectively.”
The radiology unit supports all departments, including emergency, surgery, pediatrics, gynecology, and internal medicine.
